Why do I need a professional writer?

Musicians and small business owners are very similar. You've worked hard on your creation and you want it to succeed. However, if you try to promote your music or your business with poorly written materials, you will never be able to gain the success you want because most people won't even bother with you. After all, if you don't care enough to communicate clearly and professionally, why should people care about your music or business? When people feel that you are a professional, they are more willing to support you.

Who owns the material you write for me?

Any work I do for you will be a work for hire. That means that once you have paid in full, you own any materials I create for you. Once I deliver the final copies, you can do whatever you want with the materials.

When will you start my project?

I will start work on your project as soon as possible once you have signed the work agreement, paid the deposit, and you have provided the required information and materials I requested. I will provide you with a list of the material/information I need to get started when I quote the project.

Please keep in mind that if you do not provide the material I request in a timely manner, the priority of your project will be lowered and a revised delivery date will need to be provided once I have the requested material.

I don't see the type of document I need listed on your site, can you do it?

Please contact me with details of your project and I will let you know if it is a project I can do for you.

How long will the project take?

The time a project takes to complete depends on several factors. When I quote the project I will give you a delivery date for the project. Completing the project on time will depend on timely responses to any questions I might have during work on your project.

Please keep in mind that if you do not provide the material I request in a timely manner, the priority of your project will be lowered and a revised delivery date will need to be provided once I have the requested material.

How much will my project cost me?

The cost of each project depends on the type of project. My goal is to provide quality service at a reasonable price. Once I have the details of the project, I will provide you with a quote. Unless the scope of the project changes, the price quoted will not change.

How will I receive my finished project?

I will provide you with PDF files and source files for your completed project. I can provide source files in OpenOffice and MS Word formats. If you need another format, mention this when you contact me and I will let you know if I can deliver in that format.

How do I pay?

PayPal is my preferred method of payment. Other payment methods can be discussed.

When do I pay?

I require a 30% deposit before I will begin work on your project. The remaining 70% is due upon acceptance by you that the project is completed to your satisfaction.

Note that I will only release the final files to you once final payment is received. If you pay using PayPal, I should be able to release the files to you within that same day. If you use another form of payment, the payment will have to clear my bank before I release the final files.

What's the best time/way to reach you?

The best way to reach me is via email. I will provide my phone number and best time to reach me once we start a project. If you would like to talk to me before we actually start on a project, contact me and I will provide a phone number.

Do you assemble and mail out press kits?

No, I do not assemble and mail out press kits. I will provide you with the tools to build your own press kit, but it will be up to you to send them out.
